The Derived Connect section allows you to configure rate plans that automatically follow pricing and restriction rules from a master rate plan. This is especially useful when you want multiple room types or rate plans to dynamically follow a shared pricing structure → saving you time and reducing manual errors.
Derived Connect → How to add combination
To begin creating a derived rate plan, click on the “+ Add Combination” button. This allows you to group selected rooms and rate plans under a new configuration that can inherit pricing or restriction logic.
Derived Combination Details → Pricing Rules
In this tab, you’ll define how the pricing of each selected rate plan will behave in relation to its base rate.
R1.56.1.1 → +% 10 → This rate plan will increase by 10% compared to the master rate plan.
R1.56.1.2 → -% 15 → This rate plan will decrease by 15% compared to the master rate plan.
R1.56.1.3 → +% 10 → This rate plan will increase by 10% compared to the master rate plan.

Derived Combination Details → Restrictions Tab – Synchronization Setup
This section enables your derived rate plan to dynamically inherit or align specific booking restrictions from a master rate plan, ensuring consistency and easier management across linked plans.
You will see a list of restriction types available for synchronization:
Inventory → Number of sellable units
Release → Unsold room allotments are automatically returned to the property
Min Stay / Max Stay → Minimum and maximum nights allowed for booking
Min Stay Arrival / Max Stay Arrival → Length of stay when arrival is on a specific day
Min Advance Booking Offset / Max Advance Booking Offset → How far in advance a guest can book
Close to Arrival / Close to Departure → Restrict arrivals or departures on specific dates
Stop Sell → Prevent all bookings on specific dates
These restriction types follow the same logic and definitions as shown in the Rate Plan Level Restrictions View. Refer back to the legend table in that section for reference.
Table Reference - Pricing Rules → Derived Combination Details → Restrictions Tab – Synchronization Setup
| Field | Description |
| Lists each dynamic restriction that can be synced from the master plan (e.g., Inventory, Min Stay, CTA, etc.). |
| Select Yes to sync the value from the master plan, or No to leave it unmanaged. |
| If syncing is enabled, define how the values are adjusted:
Set the numeric offset to increase or decrease the value. |
| Once you’ve configured all restrictions, click “Deploy Changes” to apply. | |
Additional Tips
Not all restrictions may be relevant for your setup. Only enable what you want to manage dynamically from the master plan.
Use “Same” if you want the derived plan to follow the master restriction exactly with no offset.
Once you’re done, don’t forget to click Deploy Changes to save your configuration.
