Intelligence Overview
The Intelligence section is where TPS users can set up and manage advanced pricing strategies, including derived rate plans and LOS (Length of Stay) pricing rules. This functionality is designed to support more dynamic and competitive pricing, often seen across OTAs and other channel managers.
Important: This user guide is the primary reference for TPS users configuring intelligent pricing in Bakuun. Please follow the steps carefully to ensure correct setup. Incorrect configurations may lead to unexpected rate behavior on connected channels.
Using intelligent pricing rules, you can:
Apply LOS-based discounts or surcharges.
Create Derived Rate Plans based on a master rate plan.
Restrict availability of specific pricing structures by market segment or geography.
This flexibility enables you to optimize revenue based on booking behavior, seasonality, and business goals → without requiring manual updates to every rate plan.
Intelligence → LOS Rates
The LOS (Length of Stay) Rates section lets you apply dynamic pricing rules based on how many nights a guest stays. This strategy is commonly used in the hospitality industry to:
Encourage longer stays by offering discounted rates
Adjust pricing based on booking patterns
Automatically apply special rates without needing separate rate plans
💡 LOS rules are visible only in the Intelligence section. They are applied on top of existing rate plans and do not override room-level configurations.

LOS Rates – Add Combination
To create a new LOS (Length of Stay) pricing rule, click on the Add Combination button. You’ll be redirected to a page with two main areas:
A list of Rooms and Rate Plans to which the rule will apply.
A Pricing Rules section where you define the LOS range and adjustment method.
This section allows TPS users to independently configure LOS-based rate variations without needing manual support. It is essential for controlling pricing strategies like offering discounts for longer stays or setting specific rates for short bookings. Each combination applies to selected rooms and rate plans, and can be customized using flexible rule logic (e.g., “2–3 nights → -10%”).
Screenshots and field explanations will follow to guide you step-by-step through the setup.

This section lets you choose the room(s) and specific rate plan(s) where you want to apply LOS pricing rules. You can select multiple rate plans under one room.
