What this page is for

Sandbox > Interact lets TPS accounts test ARI and booking flows for sandbox properties before going to production.

From this page, you can:

  • Review ARI data for a sandbox property, such as rate plan level restrictions, rates, and LOS rates
  • Trigger sandbox booking events for testing
  • Confirm mapping, connectivity, and booking behaviour during sandbox testing

This page is for the sandbox environment only. It does not create live bookings or update production data.

Before you start

Use Sandbox > Interact only for testing.

Before using this page, make sure:

  • The property is available in the sandbox setup
  • Mapping has been reviewed in Sandbox > Connect
  • Sandbox configuration is completed where required
  • You are using test data only

Do not enter real guest names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, or payment details in the booking test popup.

Use Erase carefully. Only use it when needed for sandbox testing or troubleshooting.

Interact list

Each row in the Interact list shows a sandbox property.

Column Description
Property ID The sandbox property ID
Property Name The sandbox property name
Country The country set for the sandbox property
ARI icon Opens the property plan page to review ARI data
Booking icon Opens the Booking Management popup for sandbox booking testing

Review ARI for a property

  1. In the Interact list, find the property.
  2. Click the ARI/calendar icon.
  3. The property plan page opens.
  4. Use the dropdown to review ARI data, such as:
    • Rate Plan Level Restriction
    • Rates
    • LOS Rates
  5. Use the room filter and date navigation to review the expected data.
  6. Close the page using the X when finished.

Outcome: You can review whether the expected ARI data is showing for the selected sandbox property and date range.

About Erase

The property plan page includes an Erase button.

Use Erase only when needed for sandbox testing or troubleshooting. If you are unsure, check with your technical team or contact Bakuun Support before using it.

Test a booking flow

  1. In the Interact list, find the property.
  2. Click the Booking icon.
  3. The Booking Management popup opens.
  4. Enter test values only.
  5. Complete the required booking fields, such as:
    • Guest Name
    • Guest Surname
    • Guest Details
    • Check-in
    • Check-out
    • Guests
    • Adult
    • Children
    • Child Age
    • Select Room
    • Select RatePlan
    • Remarks
    • Payment Method
  6. Click Deploy to trigger the sandbox booking event for testing.
  7. Click Cancel to close the popup without submitting.

Outcome: The booking event is submitted for sandbox testing only. No live booking is created.

How to check it worked

For ARI testing:

  1. Confirm the expected values show on the property plan page.
  2. Switch between Rate Plan Level Restriction, Rates, and LOS Rates to review the expected data.
  3. If something does not match, ask your technical team to compare the result with the sandbox integration logs.

For booking testing:

  1. Confirm with your technical team that the sandbox booking event was received or processed as expected.
  2. Check sandbox integration logs or booking test results where available.
  3. Confirm no live booking was created in any production system.

  • TPS account name
  • Property ID or property name
  • Action used, such as ARI or Booking
  • Room or rate plan, if relevant
  • Date range, if relevant
  • Screenshot with property, guest, and private values masked
  • What you expected to happen
  • What actually happened
