What this page is for
The Sandbox > Webhook page lets TPS accounts manage sandbox webhook endpoints used to exchange events between Bakuun and the supplier system.
This page covers three endpoint types:
- Mapping endpoints — used for room and rate plan mapping events
- ARI endpoints — used for Availability, Rates, and Inventory events
- Booking endpoints — used for booking or reservation events
This page is for the sandbox environment only. It does not update production endpoints.
Before you start
Endpoint URLs and credentials are sensitive.
Only authorized technical users should add, update, suspend, delete, or roll keys for an endpoint.
Before sharing screenshots, mask or blur:
- Endpoint URLs
- Account IDs
- Endpoint IDs
- API keys
- Tokens
- Passwords
- Private identifiers
What this page shows
Each endpoint section shows a table with these columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| URL | The configured endpoint address for that event type |
| API Version | The API version currently set for the endpoint |
| Method | Shows whether the endpoint uses Push or Read |
| Error Rate | Shows the percentage of failed attempts or endpoint errors |
| Status | Shows the endpoint state, such as Active, To set, or Suspended |
Each section also has a + Add endpoint button.
Configured endpoint rows may also show an ellipsis … menu for endpoint management actions.
Endpoint methods and statuses
The Method column shows how the endpoint is used.
- Push — Bakuun sends event data to the endpoint.
- Read — Bakuun retrieves or reads data from the endpoint.
Check the Method column on the specific endpoint row instead of assuming the method by section.
The Status column shows the current endpoint state.
- Active — the endpoint is currently enabled.
- To set — the endpoint still needs to be configured.
- Suspended — the endpoint is disabled or paused.
Add an endpoint
- Go to the relevant section:
- Mapping endpoints
- ARI endpoints
- Booking endpoints
- Click + Add endpoint.
- Complete the required setup in the modal.
- Confirm to add the endpoint.
Outcome: The endpoint appears in the relevant section with its Method, API Version, Error Rate, and Status.
Manage an endpoint
Click the ellipsis … icon beside an endpoint to open available management actions.
Available actions may include:
| Action | What to know |
|---|---|
| Update API version | Review the changelog before switching versions to confirm compatibility with your system |
| Enable / disable endpoint | Suspending an endpoint may pause event flow for that endpoint |
| Roll / expire API key | Rotates the endpoint credential. Integrations using the old key may be affected once it expires |
| Delete endpoint | Permanently removes the endpoint. This cannot be undone |
Use endpoint management actions carefully, especially for active integrations.
How to check it worked
After adding or updating an endpoint:
- Confirm the endpoint appears in the correct section.
- Check the Method, API Version, Error Rate, and Status.
- If the endpoint should be enabled, confirm the status shows Active.
- Monitor the Error Rate and confirm with your technical team that events are being received or read as expected.
