What this page is for
The Sandbox > API Keys page lets TPS accounts view and manage sandbox API keys used to authenticate API requests between your system and Bakuun.
These keys cover three areas:
- Mapping keys — used for mapping configuration requests
- ARI keys — used for Availability, Rates, and Inventory update requests
- Booking keys — used for booking-related requests
Use this page to find a key, reveal it when needed, or refresh/regenerate it if required.
Before you start
API keys are sensitive credentials.
Only authorized users should view, reveal, copy, or regenerate keys.
Never paste a full key into a screenshot, chat message, ticket, email, or unsecured document.
If a screenshot of this page is needed, mask or blur every key value before sharing it. Labels and column headers can stay visible.
API key sections
The page groups keys into three sections.
| Section | Used for |
|---|---|
| Mapping keys | Mapping configuration requests |
| ARI keys | Availability, Rates, and Inventory update requests |
| Booking keys | Booking-related requests |
Each section shows:
- Name
- Key
- Last Used
- Created
Each section may include Read key, Post key, Reveal Key, and a refresh/regenerate icon.
Reveal or copy a key
Some keys are hidden by default.
To view a hidden key:
- Click Reveal Key next to the masked key.
- Copy the key only if you need it.
- Store the key securely after copying it.
Do not store keys in plain text files, chat messages, shared documents, or unsecured tickets.
Refresh or regenerate a key
The refresh icon is used to refresh or regenerate a key if required.
Before using it, confirm with your technical team that the key is not actively being used, or that the integration can be updated with the new key.
Changing a key may affect any integration currently using that key.
How to check it worked
After revealing or copying a key:
- Confirm the key is visible or copied.
- Store the key securely.
- Ask your technical team to test the related API request.
After refreshing or regenerating a key:
- Check whether the key value or Created date updates, if shown.
- Confirm the new key has been updated wherever the integration uses it.
- Ask your technical team to confirm API authentication still works.
