Overview
The Automation section allows Buyer accounts to automatically manage supplier connections without manual actions.
This helps streamline onboarding by automatically connecting to suppliers or accepting incoming connection requests based on defined rules.
Automation Settings
The Automation page is divided into two main sections:
- Smart Connect → controls automatic connection to suppliers
- Request → controls how incoming connection requests are handled
Smart Connect
Controls how your Buyer account connects to suppliers.
Available Options
- Don’t configure smart connect → No automatic connections
- Configure smart connect for all supplier → Automatically connects to all available suppliers
- Configure smart connect automation for specific supplier targets → Automatically connects only to selected suppliers
Request
Controls how incoming supplier connection requests are handled.
Available Options
- Do not configure auto-accept for incoming connection requests → All requests must be reviewed manually
- Configure auto-accept for incoming connection requests → Automatically accepts all incoming requests
- Configure smart auto-accept for incoming connection requests for specific supplier targets → Automatically accepts requests only from selected suppliers
Save Configuration
After selecting your preferred settings:
- Click Save to apply changes
How Automation Works
Depending on your configuration:
- Suppliers may be connected automatically
- Incoming requests may be accepted automatically
- Manual actions such as Submit may not appear
Important Notes
- Automation applies at the Buyer account level
- Behavior depends on the selected configuration
- If both Buyer and supplier automation are enabled, connections may happen automatically
- Always review connection results after enabling automation
