B-Aggregate → General Settings Section

The General Settings section under B-Aggregate allows you to manage the overall commercial configuration applied to your property when distributing through B-Aggregate Demand Partners.

This section controls how commissions, VAT, and fees are calculated and displayed to connected partners. Changes made here directly impact how your rates are structured and transmitted.

Commercial Settings

The Commercial Settings panel controls the core commercial logic for B-Aggregate distribution. These settings define how commissions are applied and whether listings are actively distributed.

Field More Information
Category Displays the listing type available under B-Aggregate, typically Rooms.
Bar / Net Toggle 

Defines the pricing model used for distribution.

  • BAR → Partners receive the public base rate before commission deductions.
  • NET → Partners receive the rate after commission has been applied.
Base Commission Sets the standard commission percentage charged to your partners. This value is editable. 
Flexi Commission Optional additional commission applied on top of the base commission. This is typically used for performance incentives, campaigns, or temporary promotional adjustments.
Edit / Save Button Applies and stores configuration changes. Always click Save after editing commission fields to ensure updates are successful.
Last Update Displays the most recent date and time the commercial settings were modified.
Information Icon Hover over the icon to see which user last updated the configuration.

Tax Management → VAT

The VAT section displays how Value Added Tax is configured for B-Aggregate listings. This ensures your tax structure aligns with how connected partners expect to receive pricing data.

Category Indicates which listing type the VAT applies to, typically Rooms.
Partner Require Displays whether partners expect rates before taxes or after taxes. This helps identify alignment between your configuration and partner expectations.
Your Setting Shows the VAT configuration currently active for your property.
Update To Indicates whether VAT is marked as Included or Excluded. In this view, this field is typically not editable.
Rate Effect

Shows how VAT impacts your rate:

  • Add Charges → VAT is added on top of the base rate.
  • No Effect → VAT does not change the displayed rate.
Last Update Displays when the VAT configuration was last modified.
Information Icon Hover over the icon to view which user last updated the VAT configuration.

Tax Management → Fees

The Fees section shows the configuration of service fees or additional charges applied under B-Aggregate.

Your Setting Shows the VAT configuration currently active for your property.

Rate Effect

Defines how fees impact your rate:  

  • Add Charges → Fee is added on top of your rate.  
  • Remove Charges → Fee is deducted from your rate.  
  • No Effect → Rate remains unchanged.
Last Update Displays the date and time when the fee configuration was last modified.
Information Icon Hover over the icon to view the last user who updated the fee configuration.

Important Notes:

Changes in B-Aggregate Settings directly affect how pricing is transmitted to connected partners. Always verify whether your property is using BAR or NET distribution logic before adjusting commission settings. Commission and tax misconfiguration may result in incorrect net revenue calculations.
